MITCH STARED at Randy. “Again? When will he become available?” He knew he came across as a whining asshole, but he couldn’t help it. Every time he turned up to the club and heard those words, shivers ran down his back and his heart pounded. All he could see in his head was some fucker taking a whip or something similar to Nikko, and the thought was pure torture.

How can anyone hurt him?

He wanted to march into Seb’s office, bring his fist down onto that wide desk and demand to see Nikko, demand that no son of a bitch be allowed to hurt him anymore.

Yeah, like I’d really do that. Mitch might not have liked it, but this was Nikko’s living, and he wouldn’t do anything that could jeopardize the young man’s way of life.

Randy stared back at him. “I don’t know. Maybe you should come back another time.”

“Uh-uh.” Mitch folded his arms across his chest. “I’ll stay. I don’t care how long it takes, I’m not leaving here until I’ve seen Nikko.” He clenched his jaw.

Randy regarded him in silence, until Mitch was convinced he was about to be escorted from the club for being a nuisance. But there was something in Randy’s expression that piqued his interest.

“Come with me.” Randy beckoned for Mitch to follow him, and led him to a room at the far end of the hallway. He pushed open the door. “Wait in here and I’ll see what I can do.”

Randy’s low tone and manner almost had Mitch believing he was doing something illicit, but that didn’t make sense. Still, he wasn’t about to say no, not if it meant he got to see Nikko. He thanked him and entered the room. A quick look around showed him it was the same as any other room he’d seen thus far. He sat on the bed and leaned back against the pillows.

He could wait.
